Tea Reviews:
Twinings - Irish Breakfast

This is a tea that I'd had in my cupboard for a while before I finally tried it.  I'd recently started experimenting with black tea plus milk, but with mixed results.  Some of them just aren't strong enough to stand up to the addition, and end up turning bland.

It was after just such a failed experiment that I dug out my Twinings sampler pack, and its bags of Irish Breakfast.  I remembered that it was labeled as the strongest tea in the box, so I thought it might stand up to the milk better.  Sure enough, it did.

I really love this tea.  It's strong enough to hold up to the milk, which is all I really wanted.  It still tastes like tea, which is wonderful.  To me, it's too strong to drink black, but I'm not a big fan of really strong black tea.  If you are, feel free to try it black!

In short:  After one cup of this, I ran out and bought a whole box.  I have the feeling that this is going to be a permanent addition to my tea stash.
