Tea Reviews:
Twinings - English Breakfast

This is one of those teas that I've had a couple of different opinions on.  When I first tried it, I drank it black; it was too strong for my tastes, and I didn't really like it.  But now, after having had good results with the Irish Breakfast blend, I came back to try this one again.

This time, I intended from the outset to add milk.  I did taste it as I added sugar and, as before, too strong for me.  But with the addition of a little milk, it transforms into a wonderful cup of tea.

I really enjoyed this tea.  Like the Irish Breakfast, it takes milk beautifully and still has that wonderful tea taste.  Honestly, I'm not sure I'd have a preference between the two...maybe the Irish, because it can take a bit more milk, as it's stronger.  But I'd be more than happy to drink either.

In short:  If I didn't already have an almost whole box of Irish Breakfast in my cupboard, I'd go buy a box of this.  Really, really good tea.
