Tea Reviews:
Tazo - Zen

I absolutely love it when a tea exceeds my expectations.  And Tazo's Zen did that by leaps and bounds.

I'm a little iffy on mint tea; the last two I've tried have been so minty that it was like drinking a breath-mint.  Not inherently bad, but not what I was really after, either.  So I was understandably worried about this tea.

But, for some reason, it's been hanging around at the back of my mind, nagging me to try it.  So I did.  And now I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner!

I really liked this tea.  It had a nice spearmint flavor, but it wasn't overpoweringly strong, like I'd expected it to be.  The mint blends nicely with the green tea (which I can actually taste!), and it creates a really lovely, light and refreshing tea.  I will definitely be drinking this again.

In short:  Really lovely green tea.  Nice, light mint flavor.
