Tea Reviews:
Kroger Private Selection - Green Tea with Rose Petals

This was the first tea I've ever tried that came in those little pyramid bags; they're kind of neat

And so, my experimenting with green tea continues.  Thankfully, unlike the jasmine green I tried last, I didn't have to fiddle with the time and temps on this one.  I got it right the first time.  It's got a nice color, though it smells more of tea than roses, which was a bit disappointing.

I'm fairly happy with this tea.  The flavor of the green tea was quite nice, though the rose flavor was very subtle.  Honestly, I'd expected (and would have preferred) it to be a bit stronger.  Though, I am used to drinking mostly black and herbal teas, which are more strongly flavored.  So maybe I'm just not picking it up very well.  If you drink mostly lighter teas, like greens, you may get a better rose flavor.

Still, all in all, it's a nice, simple green tea.  Pretty easy to handle, and with a nice, clean flavor.  I'll not have trouble drinking the rest of the box.

In short:  Nice green tea, though the floral flavor is a bit lacking.
