Tea Reviews:
Bigelow - Spiced Chai

I've been a chai drinker for years, and it's still one of my favorites, so I was looking forward to trying this.  For the record, I've always before bought the kind of chai that's made from a concentrate. (And I use all milk, rather than a mix of milk and water)  This was my first time with bagged chai.

I was so disappointed with this tea.  It smelled lovely (like a gingerbread cookie, sort of), but it didn't taste like anything.  I only added a little milk, and no sugar at first.  The first sip was so blah that I couldn't believe it.  I tried adding more sugar, but to no avail.  It just tasted like warm water, with a bit of milk.  I actually had to pour this out and make something else; I couldn't drink it.  I'm only grateful that this tea came to me in a sampler; so I'm not stuck with a whole box of the stuff.

In short:  Don't buy this.  Really.
