Tea Reviews:
Bigelow - Green Tea with Pomegranate

This is the second green tea I've had from Bigelow, and I must say, I'm disappointed.

The pomegranate flavor was extremely mild; so mild that, if the packaging didn't clearly say "pomegranate", then I'd not be able to guess what fruit it is.  And there was no underlying taste of green tea, either; just this watery, washed-out fruit-ish flavor.

I didn't much like this tea.  I tasted neither green tea, nor pomegranate, and the resulting brew was not very good.  I read a review of this tea on Amazon, where the writer likened the flavor to a piece of chewing gum, after the flavor had mostly been chewed out...and that's actually a fairly accurate description.  I steeped for 3 minutes, so it's possible that a longer steep might help.  I've still got a few bags of this, so I may give it another shot.  But I don't expect that my opinion will change.

In short:  Weak, watery tea that tastes slightly of fruit.  I'd say skip this one.
